About

A French-speaking church, rooted in the Word of God and turned towards its community.

Our story

Where we come from

Living Water Christian Center was born in 2009. It all began as a prayer group: a few people gathered to praise the Lord, with a single guitar.

Coming from different communities and cultures, they all sought the face of God and wanted to learn to walk with Him in integrity.

Our vision

The salvation of souls, especially in New York City.

The vision of Living Water Christian Center is centered on the salvation of souls: that everyone may meet Jesus Christ, the source of living water, and be transformed.

Our family

The French congregation of Bethel Gospel Assembly

Living Water Christian Center is the French congregation of Bethel Gospel Assembly, a Harlem church whose home, faith and mission we share.

We hold our services in French within its walls, and we walk alongside it in serving our neighborhood and the nations.

What we believe

The foundations of our faith

  1. 01

    The Bible

It is the Word of God — inspired, trustworthy, and the authority for our faith and life.

  2. 02

    One God

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, creator of all things.

  3. 03

    Jesus Christ

The Son of God, who died for our sins and rose again, the only Savior and Lord.

  4. 04

    Salvation by grace

It is a gift of God, received through faith: “the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men.”

  5. 05

    The Holy Spirit

He lives in those who believe, transforms them and equips them to serve.

  6. 06

    The Church

It is the family of God, called to worship, to love one another and to share the Gospel.

A word from the pastor

Welcome to Living Water Christian Center. Our prayer is that you find a family here, and with God the peace that nothing else can give.
